being treated like black people in America," Mychal Denzel Smith tweeted. It is of the utmost importance to have solidarity with people around the world, not just because of the adage about all of our connections to injustice, but the many ways in which militarized police (who are themselves from the working class and poor) are used against citizens to support corporate interests. WELCOME TO THE RAGLAND PAGE
This blog is dedicated to the analysis of global culture from a peace and justice perspective. Often our analysis of issues are framed as objective inquiries into world events. Objectivity is a myth. We all hold our subjectivities- values and world views that shape our perspective on the world. This blog is upfront, concerned about justice and the respect of human dignity through nonviolent social transformation.
